What causes a toilet to leak from the base when flushing?

A toilet leaking from the base when you flush usually means the floor-to-toilet seal is compromised or the toilet mounting is loose. It can also be a cracked bowl or a drain issue pushing water back. Sometimes the supply line or emergency shut-off leaks and pools at the base, which looks like a base leak. We’ll come out, diagnose the toilet problem, provide a report, and present solutions. If we do the work, we waive the diagnostic charge. Same-day service is available if booked by 6 PM.
